Season 1 Episodes
1. Arriving in Mexico
In this premiere episode, Drake partakes in mezcal alcohol tasting, joins a mariachi band in Plaza Garibaldi, forces down pulque (more alcohol) at a pulqueria, gets a religious cleansing and tries some sketchy street tacos.
2. Wrestling in Mexico
In the second episode, Drake meets up with some of Mexico's top young riders and challenges them to a small enduro competition on their own soil.
3. Great Pyramids of Giza
After 27 hours of travel, FMX rider Drake McElroy goes inside the great Pyramids of Giza with fellow rider Robbie Maddison. He then gets some much needed air as he tries to use his dirt bike skills on a rogue camel. After the Pyramids, Drake cruises the Nile and learns to play the oud. He also tries his bartering skills at the historic Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. Itching to see Cairo on two wheels, Drake takes a tour of the city on a motorcycle and finishes the day at the El Fishawy coffee house.
4. The City of the Dead
In this week's episode, Drake shows off his creative side and learns about one of Egypt's oldest traditions. Later, Drake makes a memorable visit to one of Cairo's most historic and chilling landmarks, the City of the Dead, before experiencing some of Egypt's traditional cuisine.
5. Water wars and Motorcycles
Right off the plane in Madrid, Drake loads up for a massive water fight with more than 10,000 people. After drying off, he enjoys dinner and a traditional flamenco performance. He then gets back in his element with some vintage low-rider bicycles and cruises around town. Finally, Drake gets his mind blown when checks out arguably the biggest collection of Spanish motorcycles around, more than 400 bikes.
6. Riding in Madrid
In this week's episode, Drake continues to enjoy the Spanish lifestyle. After learning about one of the country's most popular delicacies and honing his knife skills at one of the world's oldest restaurants, Drake experiences Madrid's nightlife at a funky rock and roll club. He then takes a motorcycle ride through the Spanish countryside, soaking up the country's history and putting the perfect end to an amazing trip.
7. Wakesurfing in Moscow
Drake arrives in Moscow and heads straight to the historic Sandunovsky baths to recover from his travels before heading to an underground club to watch a notable psychedelic band and chat with them after the show. It's then off to the Moscow River for a day of wakesurfing with a top Russian DJ and a trip to the radio station for an interview. Finally, Drake gets a taste of the Cold War, going 18 floors below the street as he explores an underground Soviet bunker.
8. Biker Bar in Moscow
Continuing on his Russian adventure, Drake experiences the underground street racing scene in the heart of Moscow in a tricked-out Audi. Then he explores Sexton - a crazy post-apocalyptic biker bar/nightclub reminiscent of Mad Max, and meets up with the editor of the iconic, provocative website "The eXile" and talks about life in Russia as an American expat. Drake also performs his day job, judging the Red Bull X-Fighters stop in Red Square, where he meets NFL star Reggie Bush who's visiting Moscow as well.
9. May the Darts be With You
In this week's episode, Drake visits London where he meets up with "Super Ted" James, one of the most innovative custom fixed bike builders around, before heading to judge the Red Bull X-Fighters event that night. The next morning, he takes a train ride north to visit darts legend Bobby George, aka "Bobby Dazzler," at his home pub, where he discusses life and gets some pointers on his darts game. It's an experience he'll never forget.
10. Riding through London
Drake wraps up his London adventure with the search for spicy curry on Brick Lane, urban motocross with world champ David Knight, a ride on a classic café racer through London to the legendary Ace Café, a humiliating lesson at Lord's Cricket Ground, the home of cricket and an unforgettable meal at St. John, one of the world's best restaurants.
11. When in Rome
Drake arrives in Rome to handle his Red Bull X-Fighters judging business. The next morning, after a long night, it's nothing but good friends and good food as he meets up with NASCAR driver Brian Vickers and fellow Red Bull X-Fighters judge Regis Harrington as they play a lazy round of golf alongside an ancient aquaduct before learning how to make authentic pasta. Drake gets his Italian cowboy on as he ventures through a 2,600-year-old necropolis on horseback before heading back into central Rome for a homecooked rooftop dinner with his wife.
12. Roman Holiday
Continuing his Italian adventure, Drake travels north to Bologna, the home of Ducati, where he's hooked up with a new bike to cruise around town and tour the sites. Back in Rome, Drake gives Russell Crowe a run for his money at gladiator school. After a calming lunch amongst classic statues in an old art studio, Drake whips around Rome in style on a '66 Lambretta scooter. After causing an absolute ruckus on the streets, Drake learns the right way to make pizza through the art of charades.
13. Drake in Dubai
FMX rider and X-Fighters judge Drake McElroy travels to Dubai for an unreal time going down 90 ft waterslides, riding motorcycles with Nadim and the UAE motorcycle club, hitting the desert sand in a quad and even snowboarding at an indoor mountain resort. A good first couple of days.
14. Racing in Dubai
Drake's visit to Dubai wraps up with a full-throttle drive in an open wheel race car at the Dubai Autodrome. Afterward, he gets a lesson in the ancient sport of falconry and makes some new feathered friends. Making a quick stop at a camel farm, Drake continues on and enjoys the good company and amazing home of Emitati actor and culturalist, Eisa Kayed.
15. Taking it to the streets of Brazil
In this episode, Drake visits Sao Paulo, the most populous city in the Southern Hemisphere. His first night in town, he grabs a bite at a hip former butcher shop and gets his disco on at a local nightclub. After a morning dip in the hotel pool, he's off to sample feijoada, the traditional Brazilian cuisine. Drake walks off his meal at Beco do Batman, a neighborhood that welcomes local street artists to add to the dynamic colors on literally every wall and stops at Tag and Juice, a bicycle and art space. Rounding out his second day in town, Drake hangs with a group of friends, talks bikes and ends his night with a cruise around town.
16. Motoboys of Sao Paulo
Drake wraps up his trip to Sao Paulo by sampling the diverse food fare at the Mercado Municipal marketplace. He almost loses his lunch when he rides on the back of a motoboy's rickety bike through the hectic streets of the metropolis, dodging people and cars along the way in the scariest thing Drake has done all series. Once safely off the bike, he stops by an urban art gallery and meets Baixo, the owner/curator, followed by a visit to a favela where the residents create art to beautify the dreary Sao Paulo slums. Drake ends his trip with a late night at a club where he meets Igor Cavalera, a founding member of the legendary metal band Sepultura and currently with his wife, the DJ duo Mixhell.
17. Tapas in Barcelona
Drake visits Barcelona and discovers Dontell, a hidden gourmet restaurant where he helps prepare the meal for his wife. The next day, it's more food at La Boqueria, the famous market off Las Ramblas to sample a selection of tapas. With a full stomach and itching to ride, Drake tests out a Volta electric motorcycle. Continuing the bike theme, It's off the the Catalunya Circuit to check out the MotoGP scene and drops by the broadcast booth to take in qualifying with British announcers Toby Moody and Julian Ryder. Rounding out his night, it's more tapas and then some rock n' roll at El Monasterio.
18. MotoGP in Barcelona
Strolling around Barcelona, FMX rider Drake McElroy discovers the incredibly distinctive architecture of Gaudi at Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia before joining a group in making a castell, or human tower. Finally it's race day as Drake goes to the Circuit de Catalunya to watch the MotoGP race trackside and is joined at dinner by 2006 MotoGP champion Nicky Hayden. He finishes off his trip with a bang as he knocks back some absinthe at a local bar.
