Dead Cells: Immortalis Season 1

The Malaise, a strange evil transforming the kingdom's inhabitants into terrifying creatures. Ravaged by disease, they pleaded for their king to save them, but he abandoned them. Legend has it that the flame-headed "Chosen One" will slay the king and save the country from the sickness. Although sure of his existence, Laure Esposito, guardian of the Truth, struggles to find the Chosen One... until one day she has an encounter that is going to change her life.

To escape their assailants, Laure and Flamehead have been forced to enter the sewers where those infected by the Malaise lurk, much to their dismay. While there, they encounter Paulo.

Thanks to Paulo, our two friends were finally able to return to the surface and continue actively searching for the Sword of Truth. Meanwhile, the Demon King calls upon his valiant knights, the Hand of the King, and summons them to hunt down his long-time enemy.

Although the knights of the Hand of the King managed to imprison Flame-Head in an inviolable hermetic shell, Laure managed to escape at the last minute, saving her comrade. However, the guardian of Truth is increasingly consumed by Evil until she meets a mysterious alchemist...

Laure saved and Flame-Head freed, our two friends set off in search of the King's Fingers in order to kill them. The first on the list is none other than Annulum, tax collector, who offers them a challenge that is unusual to say the least.

Annulum defeated, our two heroes are now heading towards the castle of Indexa, guardian of justice. But quickly, they find themselves confronted with a strange phenomenon…

Having managed to escape the dream and the time loop via Indexa, Laure and Flamehead make their way to the fortress of The Thumb, the minter of coins. Expecting to find a hostile adversary, against all odds, he offers them a treatment.

With The Thumb defeated, Flamehead must get his hands on the Sword of Truth, which is on display at the Institute of the Guardians of Truth. Much to the dismay of Laure, the two adventurers have to sneak in and steal it.

Although Laure has lied to him, Flamehead travels to the King's castle to free her. There, the guardian Majorum and the King of the realm await him for an epic battle.

It's time for our two heroes to discover the dark tragedy behind the Malaise. Can Laure and Flamehead come to terms with the terrible truth?
