Season 1 Plot
How do you make a delicious feast in just one hour? Chef's Aldo Lazillotta and Joanne Lusted team up with families to put their culinary skills and creativity to the test. But cooking is just the beginning, they must get their team's family and friends to vote for their dishes. With time and resources running out, these top chefs will stop at nothing to claim the cottage cook off crown.

Season 1 Episodes
1. Fired Up!
Three-course meals created in cabins with no running water or power, cooked over an open flame.
2. Fig vs. Fig
Chefs must use only what they have on hand, which include figs.
3. Brotherly Love
Jo's comfort food goes up against Aldo's crab croquettes as brothers compete.
4. Sibling Rivalry
Siblings who live next door to one another team up with the chefs and go head to head in a three-course meal battle, with neighbours and friends as judges.
5. Game On!
Jo and Aldo arrive at island homes via boat to cook meals with only what they can find in the homes. Jo must use wild game ingredients, and Aldo must cook with an antique stove.
6. Sous Chef Showdown
Chefs Jo and Aldo visit home kitchens and try to prepare gourmet three-course meals using only what the homeowners have on hand; a wannabe chef preoccupies Aldo; a rustic kitchen challenges Jo.
7. Plants vs. Animals
Quinoa salad with squid steaks; chorizo topped tostadas; speckled trout and goat cheese dumplings.
8. RV Gourmets
Creating a three-course meal out of the ingredients found in coolers and kitchenettes of RV's, Jo teams up with a self-titled Old Crone, and Aldo works with an artist who loves fire.
9. Bff's vs. Rock Stars
Chef Jo and life long friends Lisa and Vanessa vs Chef Aldo, bushwhacking cook Deb, and rock star Matt.
10. Across the Water
Chefs Jo Lusted and Aldo Lanzillotta go to houses accessible only by boat.
11. City Mouse vs. Country Moue
Chef Jo works with A-type city girl Samara while Chef Aldo Lanzillotta cooks with Italian mother Mary Lou.
12. Cop vs. Klutz
Aldo works with Pete, a retired detective, to make tuna pillows stuffed with avocado puree and butter tart with pecan vanilla ice cream; Jo works with klutzy Barb to create an herb roasted chicken with beet puree and apple goat cheese galette.
13. No Power, No Problems
Creating a gourmet meal in cabins with no power or running water, Jo cooks coffee crusted beef with grilled vegetables with David and Brendan, and Aldo cooks small mouth bass with tomato curry and roasted prawns with Jessica and Jackson.
