Colour of Scar Tissue Season 1

Oldest sister and social worker Dylan now has custody of her sisters but must spend their first evening in the city at her new placement, leaving Bowie and Hendrix in theory at home.

Hendrix begins to explore the overwhelming noises and streets of her new neighbourhood. After being racially profiled in a convenient store she meets up with group of teens her age.

Unlike Hendrix, Bowie has been true to her word to Dylan, to stay at home; until she gets a call from Hendrix saying she's in trouble. An unlikely crossing of paths leads to unexpected connection with a girl named Zoe.

At work Dylan deals with co-workers talking about indigenous people in front of her, not realizing she is mixed. Stressed about her sisters not answering their phones Dylan tries to focus on the job.
