Coffee Friends Season 1

With Chef Yoo’s delicious menus and Barista Son’s amazing coffee, these two friends open up a small cafe inside a tangerine orchard. They call all of their close friends for help to open Coffee Friends in Jeju Island. With a special menu that captures the taste of Jeju and amazing coffee, they are sure to be a success. Come opening day, things don’t go as planned.

The first day ends well, and every member feels satisfied by their work. However, they are in great need of a part-timer, so Yeon Seok decides to call his close friend, Jo Jae Yun. The second day starts with mishaps, but things get better when Jae Yun arrives. They also add a new menu, which sells really well.

Even with Jae Yun joining the staff, things are as busy as ever. It’s all hands-on-deck as there is a constant flow of customers coming to enjoy the food and drinks. They successfully finish the first round of Coffee Friends and return for part two. To raise more funds, they upgrade the menu and add more seats. Ji Woo hopes to see people lined up waiting to be seated.

For the first time since opening Coffee Friends, all the seats are full both indoors and out. However, before they can bask in this feat, they are overwhelmed by the orders. They realized that they are still short-staffed, and Ho Jun calls a friend for help. It is none other than U-Know Yunho from TVXQ. With his unending passion, he begins his work as an assistant and takes on the role of dishwasher.

The stew becomes one of the hottest menus as it gets sold out two days in a row. The last customer to order this dish is nervous that it might be sold out. Chef Yoo adds a new toast to the menu, and Ho Jun makes bread suited for this dish. Ji Woo rolls up her sleeves and adds vin chaud to the drink menu. Meanwhile, Cha Sun Woo joins Coffee Friends as the newest part-timer.

Disaster strikes when the orders get delayed at Coffee Friends. One table waits anxiously as they check the time. Will they be able to eat? Sun Woo works hard and tries his best to help the members. The Coffee Friends return to Jeju Island after a short break to start their night service. They add new dishes to the menu and wait for their new part-timer to arrive.

They have more customers than ever during the first night opening of Coffee Friends. Although it’s only been a couple hours since opening time, they run out of ingredients one by one. They call in special reinforcements to bring extra ingredients. Thanks to Mr. Baek, Coffee Friends sets a new record in sales. Meanwhile, a new day starts with new menus, items, and part-timers.

With Se Hun joining the Friends as the newest part-timer, Coffee Friends sells the most tangerines and eco bags. Even though it’s his first time working a part-time job, he shows potential as a salesman. Upon hearing that Se Hun was in Jeju, another special part-timer joins for an hour. It is none other than Wanna One’s Kang Daniel.

It’s the last day of Coffee Friends in Jeju Island. The members feel a bit emotional knowing it’s their last day, but they work hard to break their record. As usual, Coffee Friends is packed as soon as they open. For the first time since opening Coffee Friends, they prepared both a day and dinner service. They take a break to enjoy the view around the tangerine orchard and rest before the dinner service.

The members of Coffee Friends finish up their last day in Jeju Island with a drink. They commend each other on a job well done and write letters to give to all the people who helped make this project possible. A month later, Yeon Seok, Ho Jun, Se Jong, Jae Yun, and Ji Woo gather at a cafe to eat and reminisce all the fun times they had at Coffee Friends.
