1. Tracks of the Beaver

Follow the Tracks of the Beaver, Canadian Pacific between Exshaw, Alberta and Revelstoke, British Columbia through the totally stunning scenery of the Rocky and Selkirk Mountains. You'll see the scenery, the wildlife, take side trips to the Takakkaw Falls, Johnston Canyon and Mount Revelstoke. You'll see elk, bear, mountain sheep, mountain goats, bald eagle and osprey. You'll ride in the cab in the Mount Mcdonald tunnel, the longest in the western hemisphere, and see the incredible engineering feat of the spiral tunnels. Full musical accompaniment, and narration to tell you the history of the construction of the routes through Kicking Horse Pass and Rogers Pass, plus a description of the trains and locomotives you are likely to see on the route.

2. A Yellowhead Winter

Join award winning videographer Peter Crook for a ride on Via Rail Canada s famed flagship passenger train #1, The Canadian west from Edmonton through Canada s magnificent Rocky Mountains and Yellowhead Pass. Along the way, you'll see the ride from the train, the train in the scenery, some Canadian National freight trains, and the winter scenery and the wildlife.

3. Canadian Pacific's Heart of the Rockies

This video was awarded the "Canadian Rockies Railroad Museum Award for Outstanding Achievement in Railroad Video". See the Canadian Pacific in the heart of Canada's spectacular Rocky Mountains, between Field, British Columbia and Exshaw, Alberta. Stunning scenery, snow covered mountains in some superb weather. In addition to CP's action red SD90MAC's and AC44CW's, we caught a rare CN diversion train, the Rocky Mountaineer an CP's beautiful restored F units on a publicity run of the Canadian Pacific. We take a look at the Spiral Tunnels, and one of the most spectacular railfan locations on the continent, Morant's Curve.

4. Canadian Pacific's Mountain Sub and Rogers Pass

January 22nd, 2000

The descriptions for the scenery that CP's Mountain Sub runs through are all inadeqate. The sub runs from Golden to Revelstoke, British Columbia, through some of the most stunning scenery on the continent. Lots of snow on the mountains, AC4400's, SD90MAC's and tired SD40-2's provide the action. All the famous locations, Field, Ottertail, Leanchoil, Palliser, Glenogle, Donald, Beavermouth, Rogers, Mount MacDonald tunnel, Stoney Creek (a long hike in!), Connaught tunnel, Mount Shaughnessy tunnel, Ross Creek, Illecillewaet, Albert Canyon and lots more.
