Bouncers Season 1

The original Bouncers documentary follows the boys of Newport's biggest security firm over a summer of booze, brawls and brotherhood, in a funny, irreverent and often surprising film.

Shaun works on the door of The Quay in the port of Blyth, a former hub of coal mining and shipbuilding. Shaun's new to Blyth and his zero tolerance approach is taking some of the locals by surprise.

Newcastle, once famous for coal mining and shipbuilding, is now better known as Britain's party capital, with around 170 bars and clubs in the city centre alone, and 20 million people every year visiting to sample the night life.

Sunderland, once home to the world's biggest shipyards and the deepest coal mines in Britain, has recently seen tough times. But that doesn't mean people stop going out for a good time; you can get 'very well refreshed' for less than a fiver.
