1. River Gorge, New Zealand
Ben travelled to New Zealand to meet the Long Family in the third episode of the first series of Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild (2013). Now he returns to see how they have been getting on.
2. Georgia Swamplands, USA
Ben returns to the swampland of southern Georgia to revisit former businessman Colbert who gave everything up to live off the land and water in the first episode of the second series of Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild (2013).
3. Wilderness Island, Australia
Ben returns to the west coast of Australia to revisit Jim and Kim, who both suffered separate life-threatening injuries before finding solace in the wild and with each other.
4. Arkansas, USA
Robert left behind an urban life for a stark existence deep in the woodlands of Arkansas. Ben learns how a lapse of concentration nearly cost Robert everything.
5. Fiji, Pacific Ocean
Ben returns to the Pacific Ocean to catch up with Rick, whose life has changed since they last met in French Polynesia. Rick is now sailing solo and has a new boat.
6. British Columbia, Canada
Ben journeys back to the wild forest mountains of British Columbia to re-join former war correspondent Julius Strauss and his wife Kristin.
