Season 8 Episodes
1. Episode 1
Ten Swedish-settled Americans come to Sweden to look for their roots. Only one of them will win the prize - a family reunion with his Swedish family. The adventure begins at high speed and the participants arrive at Helsingborg. On site in Sweden, the pursuit of their Swedish history begins. Three new friends appear to have connections to Helsingborg.
2. Episode 2
The summer has just begun for the Americans in Everything for Sweden. Now they come to Skövde and end up at the school bench. They will live like Swedish high school students, it will not just be a plug, the Americans will be able to party too. Andrew Morrisson and Kyle Johnsson come one step closer to the truth about their Swedish roots. Their family stories are unexpectedly linked. It will be a tremendous farewell when the first American is forced to leave Everything for Sweden.
3. Episode 3
In Alfta in Hälsingland, they will live as their Swedish ancestors, 19th century life in a Hälsingegård. The time trip is complete with tiring woodwork, food over open fire and unusual hay beds. One of the participants turns out to have strong links with the place, her ancestor created history in Hälsingland. Anders Lundin brings up emotions when he reveals Swedish relations to the church.
4. Episode 4
The Americans fly to Norrland. In the wilderness outside Älvsbyn they will be camping. The participants are not entirely focused, the question is how well they will manage in the forest. The Northern-born nature turns out to be both touching and upset. Americans dare on a very dangerous jump. Anders Lundin holds a vital lesson about Sweden and Switzerland. The racing event takes place on the railroad, after all, everyone will not be allowed to fight for a family reunion with their Swedish family.
5. Episode 5
The Americans come to Vimmerby and will discover Astrid Lindgren's fairytale world. They learn why these stories have such a great place in our Swedish hearts. And then they will move into Emil in Lönneberga's farm Katthult where they will live as the family in the saga. Some of them will end up in the snowboarder. Anders Lundin teaches them about the dark story behind our Saturday goddess.
6. Episode 6
On Sweden's national day, the Americans come to Stockholm. They will move into two Swedish immigrant families, families forced to make the same trip as the American ancestors of Sweden. The national day is celebrated with the families where Swedish traditions meet Somali and Arabic. Anders Lundin reveals the lies in Donald Trump's statements about Sweden. And so, the Americans will compete. Questions about the phenomenon Abba determine who can continue the adventure.
7. Episode 7
It's time for Americans to take a vacation. They sail into the archipelago of Landsort. There will be a cultural crunch when Americans go to the islanders to eat dinner. They can also try to drive a pilot boat and discover Sweden's oldest guy. Anders Lundin is set against the wall when the Americans have a lot of questions about Swedes' behavior. The final is approaching but everyone will not get there all the way.
8. Episode 8
The summer in Sweden is nearing its end and it's time for the final. Four Americans have gone all the way to Norrköping where it will be decided who wins. Three competitions stand between the Americans and the big prize: a family reunion with its Swedish family.
