Geoff pounds the pavements of Cardiff's suburbs to underline the importance of marketing for small businesses. He meets a bridal shop owner who is a bit of a wallflower, a toy shop and cafe owner who has neglected to tell anyone he has opened up, and a pet shop owner who simply hates selling
2. Macclesfield
Geoff doles out lessons in professionalism to three shops owners in Macclesfield. He meets an antique dealer who is feeling bit of a relic himself, a children's show shop owner whose obsessions with pink sparkly shoes is effecting her business and two arty sisters who can't translate their designs into profits.
3. Taunton
Geoff is in Taunton getting to grips with the small shop owner's lack of professionalism. He tackles a florist who's hiding her best assets, a coffee shop owner who blows hot and cold, and a gift and joke shop owner whose sense of humour is affecting his profits.
4. Bristol
Geoff casts his eye over three shops in Bristol. He visits a coffee shop combined with a second hand book store whose owner can't cope with more than a couple of customers at a time, a health store in need ofd a check up and a glass shop that doesn't reflect its owners passion for art.
5. Southsea
Geoff descends on Southsea to remind small shop owners to keep their eye on the game. He meets a model shop owner drowning in old stock, a tailor failing to measure up, and a hairdresser whose business needs a brush up.
6. Nottingham
Geoff visits Nottingham to help amateur retailers who've turned their passion into a business. He offers help to the owner of a costume hire business who's hiding her wares, a vintage guitar shop hitting the wrong note with its opening hours, and a specialist chocolate shop that despite its sweet appeal is getting only fair trade through the door.
7. Leicester
Geoff gives Leicester's small shopkeepers a lesson in basic maths. A crusading crystal therapist, a serious cyclist and a campaigning children's bookshop owner all get the Burch treatment.
8. Leeds
Geoff strives to go up-market in Leeds. He tackles a lack-lustre linen shop, a struggling apothecary and a cheap and cheerful costume jewellers.
