We’ve been waiting for a while to see anything beyond photographs from Disney and Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’ spin-off ‘Agatha All Along’.
Now, though, after going through a variety of other titles (including ‘Agatha: House of Harkness’, ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ and then ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’) it has conjured some footage online via the first teaser trailer.

What’s the story of ‘Agatha All Along’?
The final title, of course, draws its name from Agatha’s catchy revelation tune, as showcased in ‘WandaVision’.
Following the events of ‘WandaVision’, where Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) stripped Agatha Harkness of her power and left her trapped in magically-created town of Westview, New Jersey the infamous Agatha finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell.
Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down The Road…
Who else is in ‘Agatha All Along’?
Alongside Hahn, the cast also includes Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield Ford, Patti LuPone and Aubrey Plaza.
Kathryn Hahn talks ‘Agatha All Along’
This is what Hahn told TVLine about the show:
“It really is a very surreal chapter that’s starting for us. It’s finally coming home to roost that we got to do this, that we got to do it with this group of people, and that hopefully it’s as special [to watch] as it was making it. It certainly felt crackly and special and fantastic during production. It is hilarious, but it also goes very surprisingly deep. It’s very sophisticated. I think everyone’s going to respond to it and maybe grab hold of something that they really — like in ‘WandaVision’ — weren’t expecting.”
We already know that the show will feature musical elements (after all, you don’t hire Patti LuPone and then not utilise her legendary talents) and, according to Marvel exec Brad Winderbaum, it’ll also be scarier than you might think.
Here’s what he revealed on the Official Marvel Podcast:
“Agatha is… really fun, but it’s really scary and it gets quite dramatic. She’s an amazing anti-hero and that show lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you’re crying. It’s a Marvel brand of scary. It’s a Halloween show. There are deadly stakes in this series. It’s a fun ride, but it’s a dangerous one.”
When will ‘Agatha All Along’ arrive on screens?
The series launches on Disney+ with its first two episodes on September 18th. So perhaps not the Halloween vibe from the off, but with a nine-episode first season, it’ll certainly be showing during the spookiest time of the year.
