A&E on the Road Season 1

We're out with the MERIT team, a unit of highly skilled doctors and paramedics who are only tasked with the most serious incidents. They must deal with a man who has been hot by a lorry on the M6 motorway and thrown ten feet through the air.

Paramedic Ste Hill blue lights it to the scene of a roadside accident where a motorcyclist has come off the road.

Dr Ben Clark and student doctor Luke Hawkins go to treat 2 year old Ashanti who has suffered a fit. We're with Ben as he looks after her and reassures her parents that everything will be all right.

The MERIT mobile trauma team are called into action to deal with a man who has been stabbed and hit in the head with a sledgehammer. Plus, paramedic Ste Hill attends Dave who's suffered an anxiety attack while driving with his two young sons.
