In a dystopian 2049, three women in Taiwan navigate their roles as mother, daughter and wife — as technology takes a toll on their lives.

1. Episode 1
With her marriage on the rocks, Hsiao-yu decides to take up a colleague's suggestion to try Stable, an AI assistant.
2. Episode 2
Ta-kai's book proposal is rejected, but his agent has a different proposition. Hsiao-yu tries to repair their relationship through Stable.
3. Episode 3
Hsiao-yu and Ta-kai discover unwelcome secrets about each other. Meanwhile, Hsiao-yu’s younger sister comes and stay with them.
4. Episode 4
Ta-kai struggles to publish his new book, while Hsiao-yu leaves and goes on a business trip to Vietnam.
5. Episode 5
Ta-kai receives some good news and decides to celebrate, leading Hsiao-yu to discover a heartbreaking truth.
6. Episode 6
Ta-kai tries to make up for his mistake with Stable's help, only to learn about the other life Hsiao-yu is living in Vietnam.
7. Episode 7
Following a traumatic event, Yu-ching, a therapist, reluctantly meets with a new patient and discovers eerie similarities between Shadow and herself.

As her professional and personal lives unravel, Yu-ching replays Shadow's memory during a session and discovers yet another disturbing fact.

While Yu-ching learns an unpleasant truth about her daughter, Shadow’s past continues to shed light on the women’s painful memories.

Yu-ching and Shadow replay Yu-ching's memory for the first time, and she must now prevent her daughter from taking the same path.

Siang-Syuan convinces her skeptical husband Bo-en to try out the prediction machine for himself.

Determined to reshape Hsiao-hsu’s future, Siang-syuan and Bo-en agree to raise their son by themselves at home.
16. Episode 16
Hsiao-hsu's actions cause a rift between his parents. Meanwhile, Bo-en discovers the identity of his son's future victim.
17. Episode 17
As their predictions prove increasingly accurate, Siang-syuan and Bo-en must make a difficult decision.
18. Episode 18
Siang-syuan discovers the truth and takes action to save her family.
