Watch 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Episode 5 Promo: Will Jaime & Bronn Die in 'Eastwatch'?
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 continues to be on Dracarys, and the fallout from the Dothraki + Drogon vs. Lannister field of fire battle will be seen in Episode 5, "Eastwatch," which airs Sunday, August 13 on HBO.
Episode 4, "The Spoils of War," was relatively short but incredibly rewarding, ending with a bit of a cliffhanger for Jaime and Bronn. Are they OK after almost being burned by Drogon? Will they stay OK, as Dany clearly wants the survivors to bend the knee or die? Bronn did almost kill Drogon, and Jaime tried to kill Dany, but Team Dany killed so many from their side as her revenge for the Highgarden attack of Episode 3. (Jaime probably won't die since, as many fans suspect, he has a prophecy to fulfill.)
The promo shows Tyrion Lannister seeming to worry about Dany becoming the Queen of Ashes, really going too far down The Mad King road with that bend-the-knee or burn stuff. (Or maybe it's too far down Stannis road, since that's what he did too.) We also see Jon Snow talking about Bran Stark's vision, seeing the Night's King marching toward Eastwatch. So we may finally get some White Walkers or wights action in this episode.
Matt Shakman, who directed the amazing Episode 4, is also directed this one.
