Watch Ansel Elgort's 'Phenomenal' Rendition of 'Easy' on 'The Late Late Show'
"The Late Late Show," but it was costar Ansel Elgort's smooth rendition of '70s song "Easy" that astounded the late night host and the audience.
"Easy," which was originally sung by Lionel Richie when he was with The Commodores, is -- surprise, surprise -- one of the songs on the killer "Baby Driver" soundtrack.
"That was phenomenal," exclaimed Corden about Elgort's vocal chops. Corden then choked out, "You're better than me, you win." Trying to comfort the distraught host, Foxx suggested, "Maybe there's a world where all three of us are great singers." The three then teamed up for a rendition of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."
Before Elgort took the stage, Corden began the riff-off with Bruno Mars' "24K Magic" and Foxx sang Stevie Wonder's "For Once in My Life," then followed up with James Brown's "I Got the Feelin'."
"Baby Driver," which, as Foxx pointed out, currently has 100% critics' rating on Rotten Tomatoes, opens June 28.
