Josh Gad is the worst friend ever. And yet, bless him for trying for us. While filming the 2017 "Murder on the Orient Express" remake, Gad has repeatedly ambushed co-star Daisy Ridley to grill her for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" spoilers. He's posted many videos on the subject (see below), and his final attempt to get her to talk plays like a hilarious, star-studded intervention.

Gad swears he has no questions for Rey's alter ego ... but they do -- they being a series of famous folk, many their fellow co-stars in "Murder on the Orient Express," but also "Jurassic World 2" stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, plus their director Colin Trevorrow (who is directing "Star Wars: Episode IX"), and even "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams:

Chris Pratt wins for just plugging himself and his other upcoming movies.

Also seen in the clip are "Orient" co-stars Leslie Odom Jr., Lucy Boynton, Tom Bateman, and Penelope Cruz, plus Drew Connolly, who is working with Trevorrow on the "Jurassic World" sequel and also with the director on the upcoming "Episode IX."

Here are previous videos with Gad attempting to trick Ridley into spilling "Episode VIII" secrets:

Dame Jedi Knight! Genius.

"Murder on the Orient Express" is scheduled to open November 22. "The Last Jedi" opens December 15.
