We know Tom Cruise has a need for speed, but late night host James Corden? Not so much!

Yet, somehow the "Late Late Show" host found himself on board a tiny plane with the "Mission: Impossible -- Fallout" star.

"I have to confess, I'm terrified," he said prior to the fateful moment. And then attempted "his fastest Tom Cruise run" to escape. No surprise, Cruise outran him.

Pre-jump Cruise joked he expected to get a text from Corden canceling: Cut to Corden apologizing to Tom Hiddleston sending him text after text about his food poisoning. Oops! Wrong Tom!
