Daniel Radcliffe Joins 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Interactive Special
There will be a new face in the "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" interactive special.
Daniel Radcliffe has signed on for the upcoming Netflix event, Deadline reports. He joins returning stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski, and Carol Kane in what will be the streamer's first interactive comedy special. Details about Radcliffe's character remain under wraps.
Radcliffe came to fame as a child as the star of the Harry Potter series and has gone on to star in numerous projects on the screen and stage over the years. His recent films include "Beast of Burden" and "Jungle." In addition, he now stars in the TBS series "Miracle Workers," which was recently renewed for a second season.
We'll see the actor in the special when it premieres on Netflix in 2020. It will take Kimmy (Kemper) on her "biggest adventure yet," per Deadline, with the story in the hands of viewers. It'll also be a reunion, given that "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" ended with Season 4 earlier this year.
The special comes from Universal Television and will be created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, creators of the original series. Fey and Carlock will also serve as executive producers of the special, alongside Jeff Richmond, Sam Means, David Miner, and Meredith Scardino.
