As if there weren't enough evil clowns in politics, one of the scariest clowns of all time, Twisty, is returning to the election-themed new season of "American Horror Story."

Series creator Ryan Murphy shared the news on Instagram today, announcing, "He's Baaaaaack."

We don't yet know whether Twisty's appearance will be limited to the comic book collection seen in this Instragram photo or he'll have a bigger part to play in the season, which is set during last November's presidential election.

Series regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Cheyenne Jackson are returning for Season 7. "Scream Queens" alums Billie Lourd and Colton Haynes are joining the series, as are Billy Eichner, Alison Pill, and Adina Howard.

Season 7 of "American Horror Story" premieres in September.
