Tom Holland Gets Revenge on Chris Hemsworth After 'Infinity War' Video
"Who's the kid now, Thor?!"
First Chris Hemsworth mocked his fellow "Avengers" with action figures, and now Tom Holland has done the same thing. This MUST continue until every Marvel character has taken a shot, from Captain America and The Hulk to Black Widow and Bucky. (This might actually be very therapeutic for Bucky -- a safe space to vent his rage.)
You must remember Hemsworth's hilarious video on the "Avengers: Infinity War" set, where he pouted over being left out of "Captain America: Civil War," poking fun of the other characters, and pushing the Spider-Man figure down, saying, "He's just a kid, he can fall over."
Well, Entertainment Weekly gave Tom Holland the chance to get revenge, setting young Spidey up with the same action figures, and letting him play out his own schoolyard scenes. As Holland introduced his video:
"Hey, everyone, I'm going to do a similar thing to Chris Hemsworth, just without the crazy good looks, Australian accent, and big biceps."
So Holland went ahead and picked his "A-team" -- "best of frieeeends, best of frieeeends" -- and pushed away figures he didn't know or admitted he was scared of. (Sorry, Bucky.) Anthony Mackie needs to do the next video to get revenge for that "beat your ass" comment about Sam/Falcon. Not cool, bro. (Then again, Mackie does like to take shots at Holland, so maybe that was its own revenge.)
Holland and Hemsworth both starred in "In the Heart of the Sea," and this is not the first time they've faked a bit of a rivalry. You may recall Holland's actually impressive stunt moves while filming "Homecoming," very much one-upping Hemsworth's less impressive stunts.
Holland's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" has been enjoying rave reviews, and it comes out July 7. Hemsworth's "Thor: Ragnarok" is out November 3, then both guys will be in "Infinity War" on May 4th, 2018.
