'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' Sequel: Jordan Fisher Takes Over as John Ambrose
The "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" sequel is in the works, and the stage is being set for a love triangle.
When we pick up with the story of Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor), there will be another man on the scene: John Ambrose McClaren, another former crush who got one of her letters. Jordan Fisher has been cast in the role, EW reports. He'll be a romantic rival to Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo), the guy Lara Jean fell in love with in the first movie.
"To All the Boys I've Loved Before" set itself up for the sequel by having a post-credits scene in which John showed up at Lara Jean's door. In that scene, however, he was played by another actor, Jordan Burtchett. It's an inconsistency that fans will have to get over. Producer Matt Kaplan promises (via EW) that "there isn't a more perfect guy who could believably shake things up in Lara Jean and Peter's world."
Condor introduced Fisher to fans in a new video, and he shared that he's "just excited to be here."

Fisher acts, sings, and dances. He most recently starred in Fox's live production of "Rent," and he's also a "Dancing with the Stars" winner. Other shows he has been on include "Bones," "Teen Wolf," and "Liv and Maddie."
The sequel is in production now, and we're patiently awaiting its release date.
