Timothée Chalamet & Ansel Elgort Had the Cutest High School Reunion at the Oscars
Talk about living in total "Glee": Timothée Chalamet and Ansel Elgort attended the "Fame" school, New York City's LaGuardia High School, at the same time.
Both Timmy, 22, and Ansel, 23, were also part of the 2017-2018 awards circuit for their respective films "Call Me By Your Name" and "Baby Driver."
Timmy got himself an Oscar nomination, while "Baby Driver" picked up three nods for the film.
The high school buddies reunited for a photo during the 2018 Academy Awards:
Armie Hammer, you're awesome, but you're 31. You don't belong in this high school reunion photo.
Check out this photo of Timmy, Ansel, and Will Peltz from back in 2014 at the Toronto International Film Festival:
It's great to see they still support each other, like in this December 2017 photo after they were both nominated for Golden Globe Awards:
Can you imagine being in the same classes as these two?
During the Golden Globe Awards, MTV News put both actors on the spot to name who was more popular in school. They chose each other, but neither agreed with the reasoning.
"Timothée," said Ansel, "Timothée was so popular."
"Ansel had a calendar!" Timothée argued. "Are you kidding me?"
So, who was more popular in high school: @AnselElgort or @RealChalamet? pic.twitter.com/0m6taUR792

Ansel replied to the calendar argument:
Hold up! I did not make the calendar myself! The calendar and shoot was organized by student council! To raise money! I'd pay ???? to see a Timmy calendar tho ????

Still, Timmy argued that Ansel is the one who got the good roles in school:
"I auditioned for Guys and Dolls, Hairspray — he was the lead! I didn't get into them. That's why all those rap videos are online. I was doing the talent show instead of the musicals."
Now, now. You're both very pretty and popular. But Timmy may have to take the title at this point for inspiring "Call Me By Your Name" screenwriter James Ivory to wear a shirt with his face on it to the Academy Awards. That's next level.
