Break out the tissues: The Pearsons are back!

"This Is Us" returns for its third season on NBC on Sept. 25, with more family drama, flashbacks, romance, and of course, and lots of tears.

NBC released a first look video sneak peek, which provides glimpses of what to expect from Season 3. The premiere episode takes place on the 38th birthday of the Big Three — Randall, (Sterling K. Brown), Kevin (Justin Hartley), and Kate (Chrissy Metz).

Among the exciting scenes we'll soon see: Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) taking Rebecca (Mandy Moore) on their first date; Kate feeling emotionally ready to try for another baby with new husband Toby (Chris Sullivan); Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) learning that Kevin is hooking up with her cousin; and Randall having a heart to heart with foster kid Deja (Lyric Ross).

Not much is shown of what we know will be a major storyline this season: Jack's time in Vietnam and his relationship with brother Nicky (to be played by Michael Angarano).
