9 Things You (Probably) Didn't Know About Harry Styles

Singing competition contestant, boy-bander, solo musician, and now... actor. Harry Styles is a man of many talents, and now he's making his big screen debut in Christopher Nolan's WWII drama, "Dunkirk." Before you see the film when it's released July 21, check out these 9 Harry Styles facts so you can get to know the multi-hyphenate performer. 

1. A Star is Born

Harry Edward Styles was born February 1, 1994 in Redditch, Worcestershire, England. Blimey!

2. 'X' Marks the Spot

Harry was discovered when he competed on the UK's "The X-Factor" in 2010 at just 16 years old. He auditioned by singing the song "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. 

3. The Right Direction

He was subsequently paired with Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson to form the group One Direction. They came in third place on the seventh season of "X-Factor," but signed with Simon Cowell's record label and went on to top the charts and hit mega-stardom. 

4. Baby of the Group

Harry was the youngest member of One Direction. 

5. On a Roll

Before he hit it big, Harry worked in a bakery when he was 14. He returned to his old job for a scene for the 2013 doc "One Direction: This is Us."

6. I'm With the Band

Prior to his One Direction success, Harry was the member of a band called White Eskimo. Hmmm ... 

7. Say What?!

Harry has often joked about having four nipples. When DJ Nick Grimshaw asked what the best thing about dating him was, he replied, "I don't know. It's weird to pick your best. Shall we go with the nipples thing?"
