Rick and his gang of survivors are going to need their A-game to take down the Saviors.

After weeks off the air, the "Walking Dead" mid-season premiere is almost here. When the show returns, we can expect to see more conflict between the two rival groups. AMC released a new sneak peek Thursday, and it shows Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and co. coming up against a literal roadblock in their plan.

A villain like Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has to have multiple tricks up his sleeve, and in the clip, he seems to have pulled out a new one. He and the Saviors have prepared a surprise for their enemies, but it's not the one they first think. If this sneak peek is any indication, battling the Saviors is going to be one challenge after another. Brace yourself.
