Negan is going to f*cking love this.

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 starts on October 22, and it will air after an apparent cursing rule change from AMC. "Fear the Walking Dead" recently broadcast the word "f*ck," and ComicBook.com talked to executive producer Dave Erickson about getting permission to include that on air:

"You get a specific number of curse words you can say, and then there's a list of what you can and can't do. I think it was our script coordinator who told me there was an email had come up; there had been a memo saying we could now say 'f---' twice over the course of an entire season. [...] I don't know at what point AMC corporate decided to allow it, but they did."

If "Fear" can do it, you have to imagine the same rules apply to the flagship series. If not, why not?

AMC infamously changed Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) line from the comic book from "f*cking with the wrong people" to "screwing with the wrong people," only adding the uncensored version in the home release. In Robert Kirkman's TWD comic book, Negan is especially known for dropping f-bombs, so it's possible Season 8 will take advantage of this new memo saying exactly two f*cks can be given per season.

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 starts with its 100th episode on Sunday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. on AMC.
