Resistance is not futile on "The Walking Dead." When the zombie drama returns for the second half of season 7 next week, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the denizens of Alexandria are determined to fight back against Negan and the Saviours.

"We're rebuilding. We're together again," Lincoln notes in this extended promo (via IGN). "At least, it's the beginning of the resistance."

But they can't do it alone. They don't have any guns and they've lost key fighters, so they will need to reach out to other communities. Rick travels to the Kingdom, where Morgan currently resides, to ask King Ezekiel to "join us in fighting the Saviours, fighting for freedom, for all of us." Can these ragtag rebels team up to defeat the dark side?

"The Walking Dead" season 7B premieres Sunday, Feb. 12.
