"No more rhymes now, I mean it." "Does anybody want a peanut?"

Rob Reiner's beloved comedy "The Princess Bride" seemed destined to become a Broadway musical, but it hasn't happened so far, despite years of trying.

It's a bit early to book your tickets, but a new award-winning creative team has just been hired to adapt the film for the stage.

Disney Theatrical Productions confirmed today that they've hired composer and lyricist David Yazbek and a book writers Bob Martin and Rick Elice.

Yazbek, whose musicals include "The Full Monty," won a Tony for "The Band’s Visit" (based on the Israeli film of the same name). It's one of four musicals in Broadway history to win "The Big Six:" Best Musical, Book, Score, Actor and Actress in a Musical, and Direction.

His adaptation of "Tootsie" opens at Broadway’s Marquis on April 23.

Martin won a Tony for "The Drowsy Chaperone" and Elice was a Tony nominee for "Jersey Boys."

We eagerly await songs such as (we imagine) "Have Fun Storming the Castle," "Inconceivable!" and "My Name is Inigo Montoya."

While we don't know who might be cast in a stage show, it's worth noting that Inigo himself, Mandy Patinkin, won a Tony for the 1980 production of "Evita."
