'The Hustle' Trailer Turns Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson Into Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson are conning "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" in the first trailer for "The Hustle."
The actresses are starring in a remake of the 1988 comedy that featured Steve Martin and Michael Caine. They play con artists who team up to take down the dirty rotten men who have wronged them.
Hathaway takes over the Caine role of the high-class crook with wealthy targets, while Wilson steps into Martin's shoes as the less-refined, low-rent scammer who wants to move on up to bigger cons.
"Men — boys — underestimate us. And that is what we use," Hathaway says to her pupil.
It's the first time the actresses have collaborated, but the trailer shows they seem to have good chemistry. But can they live up to Caine and Martin's team-up?
The trailer comes out just as Wilson's newest movie, "Isn't It Romantic?" hits theaters this week. As for Hathaway, this is her film since the critically-savaged bomb "Serenity."
"The Hustle" opens in theaters May 10.
