The Fast & Furious franchise isn't taking its foot off the gas.

Universal Pictures dropped a new trailer for "The Fate of the Furious" on Thursday, and the action flick looks bigger, better, and crazier than ever. If you think you've seen absurd chase scenes already, buckle up. There are cars falling by the dozens, a long-awaited tank, and -- last but not least -- torpedoes.

The high-octane preview highlights the upcoming movie's central conflict: Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) has inexplicably gone rogue and teamed up with a dangerous high-tech terrorist, Cipher (Charlize Theron). The two of them are ready to wreck havoc everywhere, from crowded cities to isolated icebergs. The crew is racing to stop Dom, but he and Cipher have scary weapons at their disposal. From what we've seen in the trailer, the gang looks seriously outmatched.
