'The Bachelor' Enters Virgin Territory in First Poster for Colton Underwood's Season
New "Bachelor" Colton Underwood is ready for his close-up -- and possibly ready to take his clothes off?
That seems to be the message of the first poster for the upcoming season of the long-running reality series, in which Underwood -- who revealed he was a virgin while wooing Becca Kufrin on "The Bachelorette" last season -- gives the camera his best blue steel.
The one-sheet is definitely leaning into the virgin angle, asking in a winking tagline, "What does he have to lose?" Loyal members of Bachelor Nation already know, and are no doubt dying to find out if Colton trades in his V-card during his outing as the show's titular suitor.
Host Chris Harrison, who debuted the poster on his social media accounts on Thursday, called the upcoming batch of episodes a "dramatic season." And while Harrison certainly loves throwing that word around, we imagine there will indeed be plenty of drama to mine from Underwood's status, and its affect on the ladies looking to win him over.
“I’m going to live my life and do what I’ve always done,” Underwood explained in an interview with People back in September. “[Being a virgin] needs to be normalized; it’s just who I am and what I believe in. I hold a lot of value in it and I hold it to a high standard. I’m just waiting for the right heart.”
See if he finds the one when "The Bachelor" premieres on ABC on January 7.
