'The 100' Season 5 Trailer Teases New World, New Enemies, New War
On "The 100," the battle for survival never ends.
The CW released an extended trailer for Season 5 of the post-apocalyptic drama. Much of it's very familiar: There's only a sliver of livable land, a bunch of opposing factions want it for their own, and war ensues.
The end of Season 4 reset the show in some ways. Clarke (Eliza Taylor) was left alone to face the fallout of another nuclear apocalypse ... for the next six years. After that time jump, she sees a menacing new ship full of strangers land on Earth, looking for a place to call home.
Six years has brought changes to everyone. Clarke has taken on the care of a young girl. Meanwhile, in the bunker, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) struggles with leadership. In space, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and his small crew are still trying to figure out a way to get back on the ground.
Now, all those challenges are made even more complicated by the newcomers, since everyone covets the one verdant valley left untouched by radiation. And they're all willing to do whatever it takes to claim it for their own.
"The 100" Season 5 premieres Tuesday, April 24 on The CW.
