'Stranger Things' Season 2 Is 'Hopped up,' Says Finn Wolfhard
"Stranger Things" is only getting bigger and better in Season 2.
With the show set to return just in time for Halloween, the cast and crew have been hyping what we're all hoping will be another amazing season. Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, had a particularly intriguing way of describing the quality of the upcoming episodes.
"It's 'Stranger Things' but just sorta hopped up a little," he told EW. "It's almost like Season 1 was drinking a Coke and Season 2 they drank a Red Bull."
That sounds intense -- but in a good way. Season 2 is going to have some heavy stuff to deal with, after all. The series will show the aftermath of Season 1's dramatic events, including Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) being abducted and stuck in the Upside Down. There will also been new characters involved and another scary monster.
The Duffer brothers, the creators of "Stranger Things," are aware of how serious and "rabid" their fans are, and they are determined to give them a season they'll love.
"We want people to argue about what season is better," Matt told EW. "I want the debate. I want the 'Toy Story' debate!"
We want that just as much as they do, and we'll see if they get it when "Stranger Things" Season 2 hits Netflix on Oct. 27.
