'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Tickets Go on Sale after Trailer Debuts
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" doesn't hit American theaters for another two months, but tickets go on sale Monday after a new trailer debuts during halftime of "Monday Night Football" on ESPN.
With the publicity blitz for the latest film in the storied franchise heating up, the official poster for "Force Awakens" also premiered over the weekend dominated by Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey, over the familiar faces of Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia.
A teaser clip was released in August showing impressive scenes of the Imperial Army over footage previously included in a November trailer, and villain Kylo Ren's voice could be heard in a toy unveiled over the summer.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens Dec. 18. in the U.S., a day earlier in the U.K.
