The "Star Wars" universe keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Not only did we get "The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One," but two more Skywalker saga episodes are on the way, as is a Han Solo prequel and another undetermined anthology film. There's Star Wars: Rebels on television, too, as well as official books. Now, another novel is on the way — and this one will take us back to the beginning.

A part of the 40th anniversary celebration, "Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View" is an anthology novel with 40 stories written by 40 authors about the background characters of "A New Hope." It will be released in October.

The authors include "Rogue One" writer Gary Whitta, "Princess Diaries" scribe Meg Cabot, and "The Toast" founder Mallory Ortberg.

All proceeds go to First Book, a nonprofit dedicated to providing new books and learning materials to educators working with children in need.
