The Gallagher clan is never boring.

With "Shameless" Season 9 soon to return from its midseason break, Showtime released a new trailer on Thursday, Jan. 10. It shows more of the Gallagers and their friends, and as usual, there is a lot going on. One big development is that Frank (William H. Macy) gets a chance to become a dad again, and not everyone thinks it is a good idea.

Given that Frank has six kids already and they've got some issues -- just ask them -- they have some serious concerns about the idea of him having another child. The trailer shows a family discussion about it, and the young Gallaghers remind their dad of their own problems. Apparently, he managed to forget that he didn't support them.

Season 9 is set to be the last with star Emmy Rossum (Fiona), as she has decided to move on. Still, the family will have plenty to keep viewers occupied once she's gone, whether or not there's a new baby to help fill the hole.
