The cast of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" seems to include half of Hollywood already, but it keeps growing.

Scoot McNairy has officially joined the Quentin Tarantino-directed film, Deadline reports. He's set to play a TV character on a show within the movie, the cowboy Business Bob Gilbert. The film centers on a TV actor who is trying to transition to movies. The infamous 1969 Tate-LaBianca murderers also tie into the story.

In signing on, McNairy has joined a cast full of high-profile actors. His co-stars include Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Damian Lewis, and many others. He's in good company, to say the least.

McNairy has kept busy in both movies and TV over the course of his career. He starred in AMC's "Halt and Catch Fire," appeared in "Fargo" Season 3 and Netflix's miniseries "Godless," and will be one of the leads in the upcoming "True Detective" Season 3 on HBO. His resume also includes roles in "12 Years a Slave," "Gone Girl," and "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," among many others.

"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" is schedule to open on Aug. 9, 2019.
