Sandra Bullock will headline an all-female version of "Ocean's Eleven."

The Oscar winner will lead the forthcoming heist flick with Gary Ross as director and a screenplay written by Olivia Milch, sources close to the project revealed to Indiewire on Friday.

According to the website, the movie has been "quietly gestating" since fall 2014 and was initiated by late producer Jerry Weintraub, "Ocean's" trilogy director Steven Soderbergh, and George Clooney, who lead the all-star cast in all three of the capers. Though Weintraub died this past summer, insiders say the gender-swap version is "definitely in the works."

Milch has submitted a draft of the screenplay and Clooney might reprise his role as Danny Ocean with a cameo, Indiewire reports. No plot details have been released.

The all-female "Ocean's" movie will be Ross' next movie after the release of Matthew McConaughey's "The Free State of June," due May 13, 2016.

It's yet another joint effort between Bullock and Clooney, the "Gravity" costars who collaborated on the recently released "Our Brand Is Crisis." Bullock takes on a role in the political comedy that was attached to Clooney, who serves as its producer.
