Robert Downey Jr. Approves of a Fan's New 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Poster
There's been a lot of fan chatter about the (low) quality of the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" poster, but one fan identified the main problem, to the delight of Robert Downey Jr.
You probably read the various complaints about the official poster, with fans creating their own mock versions. Well, RDJ took time out of his busy job being Iron Man to share a new poster, focused on one "Homecoming" character in particular. You can probably guess which one.
Downey seems to be having fun promoting his role in Tom Holland's Spider-Man solo movie. The two stars were recently on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to talk up "Homecoming," and you may have seen their NBA spot with Jon Favreau:

Downey's Tony Stark will clearly have more than just a cameo in "Homecoming," but on Disney Channel's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" TV special, Downey emphasized, "It's a straightforward Spider-Man movie. There's always opportunities for heavy-hitters to drop in and kind of support him."
So as cool as that poster may be, it doesn't really reflect the true star of the movie. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" opens July 7th, 2017.
