The Most Unforgettable 'Friends' Love Interests, Ranked From Worst to Best
It's no surprise that, during its 10-season run, "Friends" had (nearly) countless love interests. Some of them were awesome, while others... well, they pretty much sucked. Here is our ranking of the most memorable "Friends" love interests.
30. Barry (Mitchell Whitfield)
That saying "once a cheater always a cheater" super applies to this idiot.
29. Ursula (Lisa Kudrow)
Not only does she treat her sister Phoebe like garbage, but she also stomped all over Joey's heart.
28. Julio (Carlos Gómez)
Monica is a lot of things, but she isn't an empty vase -- and Julio is definitely a jerk.
27. Roger (Fisher Stevens)
Just because you can read people very well, doesn't mean you should constantly do it until they hate you.
26. Russ (David Schwimmer)
Rachel had to learn the hard way that dating a guy who looks just like your ex (but is somehow more boring) isn't a great idea.
25. Kathy (Paget Brewster)
Controversial opinion: Kathy is the pretty much the worst. She cheated on Joey, probably cheated on Chandler -- or at least hooked up with a guy very quickly after their fight -- and almost ruined the best friendship on the show. Her personality was fine, but she wasn't worth all the pain she put both Joey and Chandler through.
24. Emily (Helen Baxendale)
Listen, if our fiancé said the wrong name at the altar on our wedding day, we also wouldn't be very happy about it. But you can't then go through with the wedding and think you can control everything after that. She just became miserable and insufferable. All of which could have been avoided if she was like, "wait, let's not get married because what you did was really eff-ing sucky."
23. Paul (Bruce Willis)
Paul was fine, but he should've spent more time trying to build his relationship with Rachel and less time scaring Ross.
22. Elizabeth (Alexandra Holden)
Elizabeth was just too young to be dating a professor and didn't seem to grasp why it was such an issue.
21. Janine (Elle Macpherson)
Yeah, Janine was hot. But her not liking Chandler and Monica? RED FLAG.
20. Fun Bobby (Vincent Ventresca)
Fun Bobby just wasn't ready for a relationship. He needed to work on himself. We hope he's happy.
19. Carol (Jane Sibbett)
Carol is definitely a loving wife... to Susan. Ross, unfortunately, was not her type.
18. Paolo (Cosimo Fusco)
Paolo was handsome and fun, but first rule of dating a girl: Don't hit on her friends.
17. Parker (Alec Baldwin)
If being optimistic 100% of the time is your thing, then Parker is for you. But it's a little too much for us... and for Phoebe.
16. Tag (Eddie Cahill)
So cute, but so young.
15. Timothy (Michael Vartan)
Timothy was very nice and very attractive. But you probably shouldn't try to date your dad's ex-girlfriend. It's just gross.
14. Erin (Kristin Davis)
Just because the girls loved her doesn't mean that Joey had to.
13. Alan (Geoffrey Lower)
Alan was such a nice guy, but he was also super forgettable.
12. Julie (Lauren Tom)
She's not Rachem.
11. Mona (Bonnie Somerville)
Mona put up with a lot from Ross, but she was so forgettable that even Ross forget about her.
10. Charlie (Aisha Tyler)
Charlie with Joey = NOPE. But, Charlie with Ross = hey, this works.
9. Pete (Jon Favreau)
Pete was sweet and he was flush with cash, but he chose ultimate fighting over Monica and that just wasn't going to work.
8. Gary (Michael Rapaport)
Gary was one of Phoebe's biggest relationships, but once he shot that bird he killed their relationship.
7. Gavin (Dermot Mulroney)
Gavin and Rachel would've made a great couple, but it was just wrong timing.
6. Joshua (Tate Donovan)
Joshua is, as Rachel so eloquently put it, "so pretty I want to cry." But he wasn't ready to fully commit and Rachel was.
5. Janice (Maggie Wheeler)
Yes, Janice does have one of the most annoying voices EVER, but she really loved Chandler, wasn't a bad person, and had enough animal print to start her own zoo.
4. Bonnie (Christine Taylor)
Bonnie was a kickass lady that Ross, quite honestly, didn't deserve. You rock that bald head, girl!
3. David (Hank Azaria)
Sweet, sweet David. Maybe the nicest love interest on "Friends," David was a nice guy without trying. He was a genuinely caring guy who just couldn't work it out with Phoebe, timing wise. By the time the stars aligned for them, her heart already belonged to someone else. We hope David found a nice girl to settle down with and never had to go back to Minsk ever again.
2. Richard (Tom Selleck)
It's a good thing that Monica and Chandler ended up together because no random guy could've ever topped Richard. These two would've lived a happy life together if they wanted the same things. Unfortunately, their age difference just put them in different places in their lives.
1. Mike (Paul Rudd)
Good ol' Crapbag. He was the perfect match for Phoebe. She could be as crazy as she wanted to be and he just fell more in love with her. He was kind, funny, and so charming. Mike forever!
