Moviefone: To begin with, Simone, can you talk about your character Pia and where we find her when the movie begins?
Simone Ashley: So, Pia is a super fiery, hot-headed, passionate woman that lives in London and she has a photography studio that isn't exactly doing too well. So, her life is kind of chaotic and not really going the direction she wants it to. Then she gets her fortune told and the next five dates she goes on, she will meet the love of her life and then that's kind of where we meet her.
MF: Hero, what can you tell us about your character Charlie, and his relationship with Pia?
Hero Fiennes Tiffin: Well, we first meet him at one of the first wedding ceremonies that we see, and he feels extremely comfortable and embedded into the culture and the family. He's calling various people by their second names and clearly knows everyone quite well. Then you quickly learn that Charlie and Pia have history and you're quite intrigued, I'd hope, to figure out exactly why they couldn't make it work and if they still can.

MF: Simone, can you talk about why you wanted to be part of this project?
SA: Well, a lot about her resonated with me. I just loved how bold, wild, ambitious and passionate she is. I've always loved embodying characters like that, but I also loved she had that human heart and desire to find love. So that's what really drew me to her.
MF: Hero, what do you think audiences are going to enjoy about ‘Picture This’?
HFT: Well, I think romantic comedies, they've proven themselves to be timeless and I just think there's always room for love and laughter in everyone's heart, no matter who you are or where you're from. So, it's been a conversation that we've had going for a while about how it feels like there was almost a drought and it feels like it was good timing, a great script and a great project. I'm very happy with what we've done together. So yeah, been a pleasure to be a part of it.

MF: Finally, Simone, it was refreshing to see that Pia’s life is a bit of a mess at the beginning of the movie. Can you talk about that and the movie’s theme of “It’s never too late to find love”?
SA: I'm glad because I'm a hot mess at times. No one's perfect. I loved that as well. I think that's something you see in a lot of romantic comedies. Whatever it might be, the trope, love is possible.
