'Orange Is the New Black' Season 5 Release Date Revealed Via Brief Teaser
Four months! That's the time we have to serve until "Orange Is the New Black" Season 5 arrives on Netflix. The streaming site announced the Friday, June 9 release date via a short teaser, warning on Twitter that "There's no turning back" and on YouTube that "Things will never be the same."
The 14-second teaser is wordless, just showing quick glimpses of Alex, Piper, Nicky, Flaca, Taystee, Morello, Cindy, Maria, Red, Gloria, and Daya aiming a gun at the camera (which is in keeping with how Season 4 ended).

Back at the SAG Awards, the OITNB cast teased that the entire 13-episode fifth season will take place over the course of three days. Taylor Schilling (Piper) told E!, "I think the stakes are higher in this season than they have been in a while just by virtue of the compressed time and seeing people in compressed circumstance really raises the stakes."
Read more teases about the new season, and prepare to binge the panties off it come June.
