The stars of "Once Upon a Time" Season 7 aren't too busy to pose for the occasional selfie with a co-star.

"Secrets and Lies" vet Mekia Cox is making her debut as Princess Tiana later this month, and it looks like she's having fun on the job. The newly promoted "Once Upon a Time" series regular shared a photo Wednesday, showing her alongside her onscreen mother, Robin Givens.

"Check out me and my new mama @robin.givens," she wrote on Instagram. "This woman is AH-mazing. One of the kindest most down to earth people I've ever worked with. Much luv."

Givens is portraying Princess Tiana's mother, Eudora, in at least one episode of the series, and the two characters' relationship is apparently as warm as it appears to be in the new photo. Entertainment Weekly previously reported that Eudora would be a "loving" and "benevolent" character. They are among the handful of new characters that will appear in the show's seventh season as it opens a new book.

We don't know exactly how Tiana and her mom tie into the story, but we'll still take all the set photos we can get.

"Once Upon a Time" premieres Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
