Olivia Munn: 'It Cost Me Money' to Have Cameo in 'Ocean's Eight'
How much would you pay to hang out with Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Sandra Bullock, and Rihanna? Olivia Munn isn't really complaining to be down several bucks just to show up for a cameo in "Ocean's Eight" ... although she wouldn't mind if the studio paid her back.
Olivia Munn told SiriusXM the "Ocean's Eleven" sequel-spinoff features a scene set at New York City's swanky Met Gala. That's where you should be able to spot Munn's cameo -- and the glamorous look she was never reimbursed for.
"It actually cost me money to be part of 'Ocean's Eight.' [...] I remember, it's a whole scene at the Met Ball and they're like, 'Oh, do your own glam.' So I felt like, you know usually 'Here's the [receipts].' I got the dress, all that, and then you submit the bills for it because, you know, I'm part of your movie. And they're like, 'Oh no, the bills come right back to you.' 'Oh! OK.' I'm going on the press junket with them. As long as I can be hanging out with [the cast]."
She said she's just as excited about the cast as anyone else. The film -- led by Sandra Bullock as Danny Ocean's estranged sister Debbie Ocean -- also stars Mindy Kaling, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Awkafina. You can expect more Met cameos Kim Kardashian West, Kendall Jenner, Zayn Malik, model Hailey Baldwin, and Anna Wintour.
By the way, some fans think Olivia Munn still got a great deal, no matter how much she had to shell out for that glam look:
Isn't being in the presence of Rihanna priceless???? You got off easy. https://t.co/EckOrr2Z2Y
