"Broad City"
Check out Season 2 of Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer's brilliant Comedy Central series this week on DVD/Blu-ray. Guest stars for the 10-episode season include Bob Balaban, Aidy Bryant, Patricia Clarkson, Susie Essman, Janeane Garofalo, Kumail Nanjiani, Kelly Ripa, Seth Rogen, Amy Ryan, Alia Shawkat, and David Wain. DVD bonus features includes outtakes, deleted scenes, a Pop-Up Enhanced Episode, the "Hack Into Broad City" series, and "Body By Trey" videos. FYI, Season 3 premieres February 17.

"Dragons: Race to the Edge"
Here you go, "How to Train Your Dragon," fans: Season 2 of this Netflix Original series debuts January 8. "Race to the Edge" takes place in the period between the first two "How To Train Your Dragon" films and follows Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid, and friends on their many adventures.

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
Perfect timing: Netflix is offering Season 10 of this must-watch comedy starting January 5, which is the day before Season 11 premieres on FXX. So have yourself a 10-episode New Year's binge, and prepare to shake your head anew at the crazy antics of the Paddy's Pub crew.

TV Worth Watching

"The Bachelor" (Monday on ABC at 8 p.m.)
Yes, it's worth watching -- to feel better about yourself. The ultimate guilty pleasure show returns January 4, with blandly sweet Ben Higgins handing out roses to women who will inevitably steamroll him into submission. As you watch this trainwreck, you can almost literally feel your brain turning to mush, but it's just as addictive as the junk food that turns your stomach to mush, so ... what's life without a little mush? Believe it or not, there's also a "Bachelor Live" post-show airing from 10 to 11 p.m. with special guests discussing what just happened on the Season 20 premiere.

"Lip Sync Battle" (Thursday on Spike at 10 p.m.)
No idea how these lip sync battles became must-see TV, but they did. Now Season 2 is here to up the ante, with the January 7 premiere offering the "Tatum Takedown" of Channing Tatum vs. wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Word on the street says Beyoncé will be showing up to help Chan, which pretty much guarantees he'll win. Future Season 2 battles include Kevin Hart vs. Olivia Munn, Anthony Anderson vs. Tracee Ellis Ross, Chris D'Elia vs. Brent Morin, and Nina Dobrev vs. Tim Tebow.

"Netanyahu at War" (Tuesday on PBS at 9 p.m.)
Let's get serious for a minute. For every hour of junk like "The Bachelor," you owe your brain some vegetables like this two-hour Frontline documentary from veteran filmmaker Michael Kirk. "Netanyahu at War" follows the Israeli prime minister's path to power, goes inside his relationships with multiple U.S. presidents -- including his clash with President Obama over the Iran nuclear deal -- and explores the implications of those relationships in the U.S. and the Middle East.
