"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2"
Baby Groot is ready for you to take him home this week! Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" beams down from the cosmos for its digital release this Tuesday, Aug. 8 in HD, 4K Ultra HD, and Disney Movies Anywhere. You can get the discs on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on Aug. 22. The digital and Blu-ray releases have so many bonus features, including "The Making of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,'" a gag reel, four deleted scenes, audio commentary with director James Gunn, a "Visionary Intro," the "Guardians Inferno" music video, and -- exclusive to digital -- three scene breakdowns, and "Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout," a sneak peek inside the new ride at Disneyland. Julie Klausner and Billy Eichner continued to give no f*cks as best friends living in New York City in the third season of this Hulu comedy. Season 3 starts with "Passover Bump" and you can stream it August 8.

"Pilgrimage"
Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, and Richard Armitage star in this historical drama arriving in theaters and available on VOD and Digital HD this Friday, Aug. 11. The story is set in Ireland in 1209, as "a small group of monks begin a reluctant pilgrimage across an island torn between centuries of tribal warfare and the growing power of Norman invaders. As they escort their monastery's holiest relic to Rome, the true value of the bejeweled relic becomes dangerously apparent and their path becomes increasingly fraught with danger.""Savage Dog"
This action movie hit theaters on August 4, and you can check it out August 8 on VOD and iTunes. In 1959 Indochina, a Wild West town is controlled by the criminal class: Vietnamese warlords and European war criminals. "Den-Dhin-Chan Labor Camp is run by four such dangerous men. The worst prison in the land, it is here that a European, former-champion boxer Martin Tilman (Scott Adkins) has made a name for himself fighting tournaments, on which wealthy criminals gamble in high stakes events. When Tilman is due for release, he just wants to return home, but the corrupt forces running the jail will do everything in their power to keep him locked down."

"King Arthur: Legend of the Sword"
Director Guy Ritchie's "King Arthur" movie -- starring Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, and Eric Bana -- will arrive on 4K Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and Blu-ray on August 8. Extras include seven featurettes on Hunnam as Arthur, Ritchie's take on the Camelot legend, the cast's crash course in swordplay, a look at the stunts, background on filming in Scotland, and more.

"Snatched"
Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn star as polar opposite mother and daughter who take an exotic vacation together and end up on an outrageous jungle adventure. The comedy arrives on Blu-ray and DVD August 8, including deleted, extended, and alternate scenes; a gag reel; and director commentary by Jonathan Levine.

"The Exception"
This espionage thriller set in World War II stars Jai Courtney as a German officer who must choose between his country and an unexpected romance. Captain Stefan Brandt (Courtney) is sent on a mission to investigate exiled German monarch Kaiser Wilhelm II (Christopher Plummer). As Brandt begins to infiltrate the Kaiser's life in search of clues, he finds himself drawn into a passionate romance with Mieke (Lily James), one of the Kaiser's maids, whom Brandt soon discovers is secretly Jewish. The historical drama -- which also stars Janet McTeer, Eddie Marsan, and Ben Daniels -- arrives on Blu-ray and DVD August 8.

"White Gold" (Netflix Original)This six-part comedy series -- starring Ed Westwick, James Buckley, Joe Thomas, Lauren O'Rourke, and Linzey Cocker -- will be available August 11. "In 1980s Essex, cocky salesman Vincent Swan and his unscrupulous team will do anything to get the sale -- including throwing honesty out the window."

"Naked" (Netflix Original Film)In a wedding version of "Groundhog Day," charming man-child Rob (Marlon Wayans) arrives in Charleston the night before he is about to marry Megan (Regina Hall). He hasn't written his vows, learned the steps for the first dance, or even remembered to bring the ring. Instead of taking care of his responsibilities, Rob goes out for a night on the town with his best man (Jonathan Todd Jackson). Then -- surprise! -- Rob wakes up naked in an elevator with no idea how he got there. He's shocked to find that it's late in the morning and he has only one hour to get to the church or miss his own wedding. That elevator wake-up keeps happening over and over, and you can see how it's resolved this Friday, August 11.

"Atypical" Season 1 (Netflix Original)This new coming-of-age series focuses on Sam (Keir Gilchrist), an 18-year-old on the autism spectrum, who decides it's time to find a girlfriend, and greater independence. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Michael Rapaport co-star as Sam's parents. Check it out starting August 11.

"Mr. Mercedes" (Wednesday on Audience Network at 8 p.m.)
Brendan Gleeson stars as Detective Bill Hodges, opposite Harry Treadaway as Brady Hartsfield, in this AT&T Original series adapting the Stephen King novel. (Anton Yelchin was originally meant to play Brady, but he died in a car accident in June 2016.) "From Executive Producers Stephen King, David E. Kelley, and Jack Bender comes the story of a demented serial killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails. This forces the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he can strike again.""Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update" (Thursday on NBC at 9 p.m.)
"Saturday Night Live" is off-season at the moment but the news is never off-season, so SNL is going to take advantage of that by bringing "Weekend Update" back on Thursday nights. Colin Jost and Michael Che anchor "Weekend Update Summer Edition" starting August 10.

"Get Shorty" (Sunday on Epix at 10 p.m.)
In 1995, Elmore Leonard's crime comedy about a mobster-turned-movie producer was adapted into a movie starring John Travolta, Gene Hackman, Rene Russo, and Danny DeVito. Now, EPIX is turning into a 10-episode TV series, starring Chris O'Dowd, Ray Romano, and Sean Bridges. The first episode arrives August 13."Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers" (Tuesday on HBO at 10 p.m.)
HBO Sports, NFL FILMS, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers teamed up for this all-access look at what it takes to make it in the NFL. The five-episode season debuts August 8, following head coach Dirk Koetter as he bands together a mix of young emerging stars, Pro Bowl veterans, free agents, and rookie hopefuls throughout training camp and the preseason.
