New 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' Trailer Unites Multiple Web Slingers
Who isn't Spider-Man?
The new trailer for the animated "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" is full of various Spider-power-infused types in alternate dimensions. The first one we meet is 13-year-old Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore), who thinks he's the one and only Spider-Man until the multiverse comes together. He then meets the older, wearier Peter Parker (Jake Johnson), who offers to mentor him.
But even they're not alone. Soon, they run into Spider-Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), the anime Peni Parker, and the porcine Spider-Ham!
The trailer indicates the movie has a free-swinging style and verve, and the inclusion of so many different Spider-Creatures is certainly something we've never seen. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are producers on the movie, and Lord wrote the screenplay. They definitely seem to bring their irreverent humor to the movie.
"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" opens in theaters December 14.
