"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" Season 2 (Netflix Original)
They alive dammit -- it's a miracle! Ellie Kemper's Kimmy Schmidt is back, and better than better, in the second season of Netflix's supremely adorkable comedy. Expect new jobs, new romance, and new songs to go viral when Season 2 starts streaming on Netflix this Friday, April 15. "AJIN: Demi-Human": Season 1 (Netflix Original)
Here's the Netflix synopsis for this new anime series, adapted from the hit Japanese manga: "A teenager discovers he's an Ajin and flees before the authorities experiment on him. Other Ajin lan to fight back and he must choose a side." The series starts streaming April 12.

"Kong King of The Apes" (Film & Series) (Netflix Original)
King Kong wants to spend a lot of time with you this week. According to Entertainment Weekly, this original CGI animation series is targeted to kids (although adults may still love it) and will be introduced through a feature-length film, followed by 12 half-hour episodes, all arriving April 15. Here's the synopsis from Netflix: "In 2050, an evil scientist is about to unleash an army of robotic dinosaurs. Now it's up to Kong and friends to fight back and save the day."

"The 5th Wave"
After four waves of deadly alien attacks, Cassie (Chloë Grace Moretz) goes on the run, trying to save her younger brother while preparing for the lethal fifth wave. This sci-fi drama, based on the novel by Rick Yancey, arrives on Digital April 12 and on Blu-ray/DVD on May 3. Digital extras Include commentary with Director J Blakeson and Chloë Grace Moretz, a cast gag reel, deleted scenes, five featurettes, and a bonus sneak peek excerpt of "The Last Star" by Yancey.

"Ride Along 2"
Ben (Kevin Hart) and his soon-to-be brother-in-law James (Ice Cube) head to Miami and try to take down a drug dealer in this sequel to the 2014 comedy. "Ride Along 2" -- which co-stars Ken Jeong, Olivia Munn, Benjamin Bratt, Sherri Shepherd, and Tyrese Gibson -- is out on Digital April 12, with the Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand releases coming April 26. Extras include deleted scenes, a gag reel, and never-before-seen bonus material, including a new recruitment video, "Ride Along With Us," and "The Ride Diaries" with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube.

"The Mindy Project" (Hulu)
What's next for Dr. Lahiri? The second half of Mindy Kaling's 26-episode Season 4 premieres on April 12. According to TVLine, Seth Meyers is returning in the midseason premiere, but this time he'll be playing himself, despite appearing as a suitor named Matt in Season 1.

"Krampus"
You'll want to stay off this guy's naughty list. Max's (Emjay Anthony) lack of Christmas spirit ends up unleashing the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force who punishes non-believers. Watch all hell break loose in the holiday horror comedy, which co-stars Adam Scott and Toni Collette, and comes out on Digital April 12 and DVD/Blu-ray April 26.

"The Forest"
Sara's (Natalie Dormer) search for her missing twin sister takes a very dark turn in "The Forest," which is out on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand April 12. It turns out, Sara's sister vanished in Japan's legendary Aokigahara Forest, and she teams up with journalist Aiden (Taylor Kinney) to try and find her. Extras include the featurette "Exploring The Forest," with behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast and filmmakers, plus feature commentary with director Jason Zada.

"Heroes Reborn"
Several cast members from the original "Heroes" series join newbies like Zachary Levi and Ryan Guzman in this 13-episode event series, which is out on Blu-ray, DVD April 12. The home release includes the extras "Heroes Reborn: Dark Matters," "Heroes Reborn: Reliving the Legacy," plus deleted scenes.

"Orphan Black" Season 4 (Thursday on BBC America at 10 p.m.)

Emmy-nominee (so good to be able to say that!) Tatiana Maslany returns for Season 4, which launches its 10 episodes on April 14. The premiere, titled "The Collapse of Nature," has this synopsis: "Sarah's respite in Iceland is ruined by a Neolution attack; when Sarah is forced to flee, she realizes she can never truly escape." Sarah never being able to escape is this series in a nutshell.

"Real Housewives of Dallas" (Monday on Bravo at 10 p.m.)
Feel free to mess with Texas, y'all, 'cause it's here to mess with you. Bravo is heading to Dallas for the ninth (!) show in the Real Housewives franchise. This round will focus on five Dallas socialites: Cary Deuber, Tiffany Hendra, Stephanie Hollman, LeeAnne Locken, and Brandi Redmond. Here's the synopsis for the April 11 series premiere, called "Everything's Bigger in Dallas": "Cary hosts a benefit during which inappropriate behavior raises the ire of social maven, Leanne; Stephanie is dragged into a squabble between Brandi and Leanne; Tiffany questions whether moving back to Dallas was the right decision." Tip, Tiffany: It probably wasn't!

"Hunters" (Monday on Syfy at 10 p.m.)
You can never have too many alien stories, so consider tuning in for Syfy's newest series "Hunters," which is executive produced by Gale Anne Hurd ("The Walking Dead") and Natalie Chaidez (Syfy's "12 Monkeys," "Heroes"). The series, based on the novel "Alien Hunters," follows Baltimore FBI agent Flynn Carroll's (Nathan Phillips) quest to track down his missing wife. The search leads him to a highly-classified government organization – the Exo-Terrorism Unit (ETU) – who track and fight alien terrorists. (They should be working with "The 5th Wave" cast...)
