'Mission: Impossible 6' Starts Filming, With Tom Cruise Already Pulling Stunts
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get hyped for "Mission: Impossible 6," which comes out in July 2018.
Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt is back, along with Rebecca Ferguson, with Jeremy Renner not in play for MI6, but Superman himself Henry Cavill joining the team.
Director Christopher McQuarrie announced the official start of filming:

Henry Cavill took a cuter approach when teasing his film preparation, including his dog in every shot:
That Traveling Bear needs to be in the movie.
"Mission: Impossible 6" started filming April 8, and paparazzi actually got the first shots of the movie when they found Tom Cruise on a Paris roof, surrounding by helicopters (of course). Will this stunt be able to top Tom Cruise's now iconic plane scene from "Rogue Nation"? In February while prepping this movie, McQuarrie teased the next big stunts to Empire Podcast:
"I may have found something today. I came to Tom with a picture of something and Tom looked at it and said, 'That's awesome! I want to fall off of that!' It's like, OK, I can see it on a poster, and I can see Tom falling off of it."
Nice! However, he cautioned that this stunt would not be the opener. "It starts in a very unconventional way. It does not start with action. That was the hardest pitch of this movie."
McQuarrie also said we'll see "a very different Ethan Hunt, I can promise you that." After five films, the director said he didn't really know Ethan yet, so this time, "I want an emotional journey for this character, and Tom really embraced it.'
"Mission: Impossible 6" is currently scheduled for release on July 27, 2018.
