Though it has been more than four years since Apple cofounder Steve Jobs died, his presence is still everywhere.
For Michael Fassbender, who brings the tech visionary's life to the big screen in "Steve Jobs," watching his own performance still leave him "a little bit numb," he tells Jimmy Fallon Thursday on "The Tonight Show."
Fassbender met with Jobs' colleagues Steve Wozniak, John Sculley and Joanna Hoffman, among others to better understand the computer genius. Emotions, he said, were still running high for those who knew him best as they continue to mourn the loss. "I could feel the sadness, and the love there was pretty palpable," he explained. "So that was something I really took from those meetings."
"Steve Jobs" chronicles the tech visionary's life - achievements, setbacks and tantrums - over the span of three of Apple's product launches in 1984, 1988 and 1998. Directed by "Slumdog Millionaire" Oscar winner Danny Boyle, the drama, opening Friday, features Michael Fassbender in the eponymous role, Seth Rogen as cofounder Steve Wozniak, and Winslet as a development team member.
